We want our retreats to be a warm cuddle, an ecstatic experience of beauty and presence. Each appointment has a different identity, with some non-negotiables: soulful locations, warm hosts, tailor-made soundtracks, and a relentless desire of self-inquiry through yoga practice.

HOST
Eugenia Noris Chiorda is a certified Vinyasa Krama Yoga teacher (250 RYS) and co-founder of Desa Yoga. With a background as a dancer, Eugenia delves daily into her research, studying ancient Indian texts and attending classes with her teachers. She studies with renowned teachers such as Alessandra Martin (Krama) in Milan, Matthew Sweeney (Vinyasa Krama Mandiram) and Olop Arpipi (Iyengar) in Bali. Her classes draw inspiration from non-dual tantra and street culture, offering a unique blend of tradition and modernity. In 2023, she completed the Hatha Yoga Teacher Training 250+ certified by Yoga Alliance and CSEN, obtaining the qualification to teach Vinyasa Krama method. She lives between Bali, Milan and Vicenza.
The soundtrack of her childhood is shaped by Nirvana and Bob Marley. But the true rhythm of her life emerges with R&B and rap. At a very young age, she takes to the stage as a professional dancer with the group Dangerous Game. Her eclecticism becomes evident as she thrives in the Italian hip-hop scene, all while nurturing her love for books, art, and cinema. Corporate life further molds her character, particularly through a career in fashion that frequently has her traveling, fueling her zest for life. The day she first steps into a Bikram Yoga class, she feels struck by a thunderbolt, certain she has discovered the cornerstone of her existence. This moment marks the beginning of her journey. A theoretical course on the Upanishads leads her to Krama Milano, a pivotal space for her spiritual growth. Alongside her yogasana practice, her studies now focus on Kashmir Shaivism, enriched by the teachings of Eric Baret, Christian Pisano, Gioia Lussana, and Raffaele Torella.
HEARD 'EM SAY
"I wanted to tell you that the aftermath of your retreat was the longest I've ever had"
"Thanks again for everything, you and the other attendees have left me so much"
"To say I feel great is an understatement"
"These days have been delicate and intense, the two things were alternated with your class and "with care" as you often said. I will remember these beautiful words, not only during practice."
"Your calm and presence have been a safe guide and then the music, the scents, the culinary journey, the talks. (...) Your genuineness and spontaneity were a precious inspiration"
